From months to weeks: how Spacetoon Go turned its product team into builders
Spacetoon Go, the streaming and entertainment app from one of the Arab world's best-known family brands, needed to ship faster without growing its engineering team. We set up an AI development pipeline where product managers and designers build features themselves, and developers review every release. Products that took 5–8 months now launch in under 2, and new features ship in 2–3 weeks.

- What we built
- AI build pipeline, release process, team training
- Squad size
- 1 product manager, 1 designer, 1 developer per feature
- Results
- Products in under 2 months (was 5–8) · features in 2–3 weeks (was months)
The challenge
Every idea queued for a small group of developers. Features took months, and by the time they shipped, the market had moved. There was no cheap way to test an idea, learn from users and decide whether to invest more.
What we built
A pipeline, a process and a new way of working, so the people closest to users can build safely:
Frame the bet. The product manager writes a one-page brief: the user problem, the success metric, and what "no traction" looks like.
Design the experience. The designer creates the screens, and AI tools turn them into working front-end code.
Build in a safe sandbox. The product manager and designer build with AI coding tools in an isolated copy of the product, using approved components, connections and coding standards, so the output fits the existing system.
Run automatic checks. Every change is tested for errors, security, performance and accessibility before a person looks at it.
Developer review. The developer checks the code, the integration with existing systems, data handling and security, and owns the decision to merge.
Release in stages. The feature goes live behind a switch for a small share of users first, then everyone.
Measure, then optimise or pivot. The squad compares results with the success metric and decides to improve it, double down, or stop and redirect. We coached the team to make that call with data, not opinion.
The results
- Products launch in under 2 months instead of 5–8.
- New features ship in 2–3 weeks instead of months.
- A squad of three ships a full feature, freeing developers to focus on architecture, quality and security.
- Faster learning: more ideas get tested, and weak ones are stopped early instead of consuming months.
No developers? We'll be your dev team
Many companies have product people and designers but no engineering team. ReBorn fills the developer seat: we set up the pipeline, review every change, and handle deployment, security and scaling. Your team builds; we make sure what goes live is safe and ready to grow.
See Your AI Dev TeamAI didn't replace developers at Spacetoon Go; it changed who can build. Developers moved from writing every line to guarding quality, and the product team learned to ship small bets fast and let users decide. The mindset changed as much as the tools.
