Viral campaigns, smaller bills: an AI creative workflow for Sakura

Sakura, a Dubai-based cosmetics brand, had a marketing team with AI tools but inconsistent results and rising costs. We trained the team and built a workflow, toolkit and prompt library for social campaigns. Their posts went viral, production moved from weeks to days, and they spend fewer AI credits per campaign.

Viral social posts · faster production · lower AI credit and token spend

The challenge

In cosmetics, the visual sells the product. The team was using AI, but the output looked generic and off-brand, and every visual took dozens of attempts. Each attempt burned credits and tokens. Agencies were slower and more expensive, so campaigns either waited or went out below standard.

What we did

  1. Audit the team's campaigns, channels, brand rules, current tools and monthly AI spend.

  2. Pick the right tool for each job (images, video, copy, editing) instead of forcing one tool to do everything.

  3. Build a prompt library of brand-specific templates for style, colours, characters and each platform's formats, so first drafts arrive on-brand.

  4. Design the workflow: brief, concept, generate, refine, brand check, publish, with clear roles and one approval step.

  5. Train the team hands-on on live campaigns, including when not to use AI.

  6. Control the spend: explore at low resolution, finalise only the winners, and track credits per campaign.

The results

  • Posts that went viral across Sakura's social channels.
  • Campaign visuals in days, not weeks, produced in-house.
  • Lower AI credit and token spend per campaign, because fewer, better generations replace trial and error.
  • A self-sufficient team that keeps improving the prompt library on its own.
The insight
AI tools are cheap; skill is the difference. The same tools produce generic or remarkable work depending on the prompts, the workflow and the taste behind them. Efficiency doesn't come from cheaper tools. It comes from needing fewer attempts.
